On Monday, March 30, we gathered to mark Palestinian Land Day.An Archive and a Home: Land Day at Dounias in Athens.

Together, we initiated the making of a living archive, one rooted in the everyday experiences of Palestinian culture in Greece. We invited people in this way:
«Bring something with you: an object, a handmade piece, a photograph, a book, a keepsake — anything that, to you, holds a connection to Palestine.
If it carries a story, a memory, or a feeling that deserves to be preserved, we will make space for it.
With the land of Palestine, Lebanon and Iran in our hearts and minds, we come together in a time of ongoing displacement and destruction.
Around a shared pot of fresh lentils, prepared following a traditional Palestinian recipe, we reflect on how the past threads into the future — and what it means today to preserve, to remember, and to remain.»

El lunes 30 de marzo nos reunimos para conmemorar el Día de la Tierra Palestina. Un archivo y un hogar: Día de la Tierra en Dounias, Atenas.

Juntos, iniciamos la creación de un archivo vivo, arraigado en las experiencias cotidianas de la cultura palestina en Grecia. Invitamos a la gente de esta manera:
«Traigan algo: un objeto, una pieza artesanal, una fotografía, un libro, un recuerdo; cualquier cosa que, para ustedes, tenga una conexión con Palestina.
Si encierra una historia, un recuerdo o un sentimiento que merece ser preservado, le daremos un espacio.
Con la tierra de Palestina, Líbano e Irán en nuestros corazones y mentes, nos reunimos en un tiempo de continuo desplazamiento y destrucción.
Alrededor de una olla compartida de lentejas frescas, preparadas según una receta tradicional palestina, reflexionamos sobre cómo el pasado se entrelaza con el futuro y qué significa hoy preservar, recordar y permanecer».
